PMTTA is one of the biggest Table Tennis academies in NSW. We provide all types of training for all levels and ages. Currently, we have over 20 members in the NSW State Junior team and more than 100 students training with us every week.
Our head coach who previously led the Australian National Team for many years is extremely passionate about promoting the sport. Under his guidance, our coaching staff also train students at many schools such as Woollahra Public, Sydney Boys and Girls High, Waverly College, The King's School, Scots College and more. Our academy has contributed greatly towards developing the sport at all school levels and around the community.
PMTTA provides one-on-one training for all students. We have an extremely dedicated team of coaches, with over 10 coaches who have all previously played at an elite level. We offer personalised training for our students, helping them improve quickly in a relatively short amount of time. Our one-on-one training allows students to improve their technical skills, footwork and focus which are all key to preparing them for competitions. We run one-on-one sessions on Sunday afternoons from 1 - 4pm as well as Wednesday and Friday evenings however spots are limited. See 'Training Schedule' for more details.
In addition to one-on-one training, our academy offers group training sessions, important in motivating our students to reach their potential. These sessions include friendly yet competitive match practice where players motivate each other, create strong friendships, and enhance the overall enjoyment of classes. Friendly competition during group sessions builds valuable game experience, preparing students for competitions. The variety of playing styles in a group environment helps players adapt and improve. We run group sessions on Sunday mornings and Friday evenings. See 'Training Schedule' for more details.
